Jim Beam Whiskey

Our limited range of Jim Beam whiskey was carefully selected by our very own connoisseurs. Aged in charred and American white oak barrels, revel in the oaky and spicy flavours with a sweet aftertaste of vanilla and caramel.

Known as the Boehm family back in 1740, after moving to Kentucky, the family changed their name to Beam and started their whiskey journey. In 1820, Jim Beam distillery was passed to the next generation, where the warehouse was expanded and column stills were introduced.

Jim Beam Distillery

The Jim Beam whiskey process starts with a mix of corn, rye, malted barley and a touch of old mash. Coupled with their top-secret yeast recipe, limestone-filtered water is added, fermented and distilled twice. After a four-year maturation process, a batch of sweet, golden bourbon is ready to be distributed.

We recommend pairing Jim Beam whiskey with smoky barbecue meats to bring out the oak from the barrel. If you prefer a light snack with your spirits, try Kentucky beer cheese and sourdough toast.

Where is Jim Beam made?

Jim Beam is an American bourbon whiskey produced in Clermont, Kentucky. The James B. Beam Distilling Co. has been in operation since 1795 and is a key stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Today, Jim Beam is owned by Beam Suntory, a Japanese spirits company.

What does Jim Beam taste like?

Jim Beam is known for its sweet, well-balanced flavour, featuring caramel, vanilla and oak with a subtle woody undertone. Aged in newly charred oak barrels, this process gives it a refined and smooth finish, making it a classic straight bourbon.

What are some good Jim Beam cocktail recipes?

The best Jim Beam cocktails include the mint julep and whiskey sour. To make a mint julep, muddle fresh mint with simple syrup, add Jim Beam and crushed ice, then stir. To make a Whiskey Sour, shake Jim Beam, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice, then strain into a glass. Jim Beam whiskey is also a great choice to feature in classic cocktails, such as the Old-fashioned and the Manhattan.
