A brief History
Chorlton Whisky, England. Founded in 2017
Manchester’s Indie Bottler with a Taste for the Unconventional
Chorlton Whisky isn’t your typical whisky brand. Founded in 2016 by David Bennett, a passionate whisky enthusiast from Manchester, Chorlton Whisky began as a series of tasting events in and around the Chorlton area. David's deep appreciation for whisky led him to transition from hosting events to independently bottling unique single cask whiskies. His approach is simple: select exceptional casks and present the whisky in its natural form—non-chill filtered, no added colour, and often at cask strength.
What sets Chorlton Whisky apart is its commitment to transparency and artistry. Each bottle provides clear information about the age, region, cask type, and flavour profile, helping whisky lovers make informed choices. The labels are adorned with imaginative artwork, often inspired by medieval themes, reflecting the adventurous spirit of the whiskies inside .
