A brief History
Glen Moray, Speyside Region, Scotland. Founded in 1828
Honest Speyside Whisky, No Fuss Required
If Glen Moray were a person, it’d be that mate who turns up with a bottle at a BBQ and says, “Don’t worry, I brought the good stuff — and no, it didn’t cost a fortune.” That’s the vibe: unpretentious, approachable, and seriously underrated.
Located on the edge of Elgin in the heart of Speyside, Glen Moray has been quietly making whisky since 1897. It started out as a brewery before converting into a whisky distillery, and it’s been running ever since — on and off at first, but now stronger than ever. For years, Glen Moray supplied blends, but now it’s earning a name for itself with a growing range of well-made single malts.
This is Speyside whisky that doesn’t try to be fancy. It’s easy to drink, easy to find, and easy on the wallet — and that’s not a bad thing at all.
