That’s when Billy Walker, former master of GlenDronach and BenRiach fame, took the helm. He didn’t just buy a distillery — he bought a canvas. And with that, GlenAllachie transformed from a behind-the-scenes blender’s workhorse into a flavour-packed single malt that’s making serious waves with whisky fans.

Its profile changed significantly in 2017, when the distillery was acquired by Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson, forming The GlenAllachie Distillers Company.
