Hai Seas was created with a simple goal: make Taiwanese single malt that feels open, clean, and full of life. The climate in Taiwan is warm and humid, which means whisky matures quickly and picks up flavour from the wood at speed. Hai Seas uses this to its advantage, working with a mix of casks and long fermentations to build texture and sweetness early on.
