The brand is named after Dylan’s song “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and is notable for its distinctive bottle designs, which feature ironwork gates created by Dylan himself.

While initially sourcing whiskey from established American distilleries, the brand has developed its own distillery in Nashville, Tennessee, located in a converted historic church.
