Lochlea Distillery is located in Ayrshire, Scotland, on a working farm historically associated with Robert Burns, who lived and worked there in the late 18th century.

Founded in 2018, Lochlea began distilling the same year and released its first core single malt, Our Barley, in 2022. The distillery was built with a clear farm-to-bottle model, controlling barley production on-site rather than sourcing externally.

It operates independently and positions itself as a modern, agriculture-led Lowland distillery.
