Jack Daniels Whiskey

Our assortment of Jack Daniel’s whiskey is chosen by expert connoisseurs. As the leading supplier of bourbon whiskey, you can expect nothing less than a luxurious experience. Every sip is light and sweet with spicy undertones. You may notice nuts, smoke and smooth bananas with caramel.

Jack Daniel’s distillery was established in 1864 by Jasper Newton Daniel. Once Daniel left home, he was taken in by Reverend Dan Call. At Call’s family farm, Daniel learnt how to make whiskey from the preacher and an enslaved man, Nathan Green, who soon became his head distiller. In 1866, the distillery was officially licensed, making it the first in the US.

Jack Daniel’s Distillery

Jack Daniel’s distillery sources its water from limestone caves. It is mixed with grains to create the mash, then fermented for six days and finally, distilled in homemade charcoal for five days.

We recommend pairing Jack Daniel’s whiskey with barbecue ribs, grilled steak or a juicy burger for dinner. For lunch, a platter of aged cheddar, smoked gouda, roasted nuts and fruits. Indulge in dark chocolate or apple pie with cinnamon for dessert.

What are the main types of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey?

Jack Daniel’s is one of the best-selling American whiskies, best known for its iconic Old No. 7, recognisable by its black and white label. Another popular variety is Gentleman Jack. In 2011, Jack Daniel’s expanded its range with flavoured whiskies, starting with Tennessee Honey, followed by Tennessee Fire and later Tennessee Apple in 2019. These flavored editions have become widely available and are commonly found in supermarkets.

What is the difference between Old No. 7, Single Barrel, and Gentleman Jack?

The main difference between Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7, Single Barrel and Gentleman Jack is their production process. Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 is the brand’s original Tennessee whiskey, first introduced in 1866. It is charcoal mellowed through a process known as the Lincoln County Process, giving it a smooth, slightly sweet flavour. Gentleman Jack, launched in 1988, undergoes a second charcoal mellowing, making it even smoother and refined. Single Barrel, introduced in 1997, is aged in hand-selected barrels, resulting in a bolder, more robust profile.

Does Jack Daniel’s produce limited-edition or seasonal releases?

Yes, Jack Daniel's produces limited-edition and seasonal releases of whiskey. Some notable releases include the Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select (launched in 2013), honoring Frank Sinatra’s love for the whiskey. The Holiday Select Series, which debuted in 2011, features specially aged barrels used to build the Jack Daniel’s Christmas Barrel Tree.
