Ardbeg Scotch Whisky
We only sell the most coveted Ardbeg scotch whisky that is aged up to 15 years. This distillery makes for a unique flavour profile with hints of zesty lemon, dark chocolate and black pepper. To balance each flavour, we recommend enjoying a side of nuts and smooth chocolate between sips.
Ardbeg scotch whisky boasts a local production process, collecting malt from the village of Port Ellen. It is then crushed into a rare 1921 Boby malt mill before an intense hike to source water from Loch Uigeadail. The whisky is then aged in ex-bourbon oak casks near the ocean, adding a light saltiness to the final product.
The Ardbeg distillery is renowned for its rich peated taste, taking inspiration from Islay’s traditional production methods.
Each batch of barley is sourced from the maltings of Port Ellen, creating a truly unique whisky. In fact, they use the smokiest malt in the entire Scotch whisky industry.
