Ardnamurchan Scotch Whisky

We provide a limited selection of the rarest Ardnamurchan whisky available, including  special edition casks from the US. This whisky is our most inviting option with a sweet flavour profile of toasted marshmallows, orange and popcorn. We recommend enjoying with smoked salmon to perfectly balance the flavours.

Ardnamurchan scotch whisky is produced in the most westerly part of the peninsula, completely surrounded by history. All their whiskies are matured in a variety of American and European oak, ex-sherry and bourbon casks before completing a final quality check.

When was Ardnamurchan Distillery established?

The Ardnamurchan distillery was established in 2014. While it’s regarded as a newer Scotch production company, its single malt whisky is not one to miss. In fact, it’s owned by Adelphi, who opened their doors in 1826.

How is Ardnamurchan whisky made?

Ardnamurchan whisky allows for a slow distillation process for a lighter spirit, before undergoing a 72 to 96-hour fermentation to add fruity flavours. Finally, it is matured in either ex-sherry, ex-bourbon, American oak or European oak casks.

What is unique about Ardnamurchan’s production process?

Besides the whisky, sustainability is at the heart of the Ardnamurchan distillery. Its production process runs entirely on renewable energy, from the river that provides its water to the wood chips from local forestry. The distillery also recycles leftovers to help feed the cattle and produce fertiliser.
