Bruichladdich Scotch Whisky
Our large selection of Bruichladdich scotch whisky is our most vibrant and oldest option, aged more than 25 years. Boasting an interesting profile of sweet oak, hints of barley and green fruits, you won’t find a whisky more complex. Smoked mussels and oysters make for the perfect food pairing, adding smoky notes between sips.
Bruichladdich scotch whisky takes pride in their production process, showcasing everything Islay has to offer in a single bottle. In addition to their vintage spirit, all their batches are matured in an array of different casks, including ex-bourbon barrels from the US.
Unlike many Islay distilleries, Bruichladdich don’t often use peat or smoke in their whisky. Instead, they showcase the value of barley.
Bruichladdich largely produces single malt Scotch. Their whiskies boast an extensive age range, some being 30 years old. As such, you can choose a heavily peated or sweeter spirit.
We recommend an appetiser of seared scallops before indulging in smoked oysters, duck or venison for dinner. If you prefer fish, try mackerel, mussels or cod instead.
