 Gordon And Macphail

Gordon and Macphail whisky is the missing elegance you need, be it an evening treat or celebration dinner. Embrace the initial sweet vanilla and tropical fruits, and the aftertaste of rich toffee and dark chocolate with a hint of spice. We recommend enjoying fresh strawberries and cream, or a salty steak to balance the flavours.

We provide a variety of Gordon and Macphail whisky aged up to 40 years old. With long-standing relationships with multiple distilleries, the company combines premium ingredients to create a unique spirit. Encased in sherry casks from Spain and ex-bourbon casks from North American, the whisky matures for several years before being bottled.

What distilleries do Gordon & MacPhail own?

Gordon & MacPhail acquired Benromach in 1993, a Speyside distillery which was reopened in 1998 after refurbishment. The distillery also owns the Cairn, which was established in the Cairngorms National Park in 2022.

What differentiates Gordon & Macphail whisky from others?

When you indulge in a whisky from Gordon & Macphail, you can taste the innovation of the maturation process. From custom casks to unique environments, every bottle offers a different experience.

What’s the best approach to enjoy a Gordon & Macphail whisky?

Many Gordon & Macphail whiskies have a strong flavour, so adding ice or water can help mellow them. Alternatively, let it sit while enjoying your evening meal as this brings out the fruity notes.
