Buffalo Trace Distillery
Buffalo Trace distillery hand-selects its corn and other grains from local Kentucky and Indiana farms. After careful inspection, they are milled and mashed for one hour. Each batch is naturally fermented for five days before being matured in oak casks.
We recommend a main course of spicy buffalo wings or a barbeque brisket. For dessert, a bowl of mixed fruit, chocolate and nuts or a pecan pie to enhance the sweetness of Buffalo Trace whiskey. For a simple snack, try gouda or blue cheese with a charcuterie board.
The Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky is named after the paths formed by buffalo herds as they migrated from the wilderness and crossed the Kentucky River. The trace of this route led early American settlers to fertile land. The Buffalo Trace Distillery is located near this trail and is where they produce their iconic bourbon.
