Bushmills Whiskey
Our limited selection of Bushmills whiskey is composed of ex-bourbon, sherry, oak and port flavours from rare casks. These sweet flavours are enhanced by locally sourced ingredients. You may catch notes of vanilla, cream and citrus, with spicy undertones.
Founded in 1608, Bushmills distillery is home to the world’s oldest licensed whiskey company. More than 400 years later, whiskey is still being produced in Ireland thanks to many generations of hard work.
Bushmills Distillery
Due to the barley tax in the 1850s, many Irish distilleries flocked to using corn or other grains. However, Bushmills distillery stayed true to its roots and continued to distil pure single malt whiskey. It still sources water from the River Bush, which flows over basalt rock.
Bushmills whiskey pairs best with smoked salmon or grilled chicken for your main course. For dessert, a simple apple pie or bread pudding. If you prefer a lighter meal, try a charcuterie board of soft cheeses, cured meats and fresh fruits.
Bushmills is an Irish whiskey brand renowned for their long history in producing whiskey. Bushmills whiskey is unique as they only produce single-malt whiskey. Many of their whiskies are triple distilled using copper pot stills, which creates a smoother spirit. The whiskey is then matured in a variety of casks, including new American oak, cognac, sherry and Caribbean rum, to create unique flavours.
The Bushmills Distillery in Northern Ireland has been producing whiskey for over 400 years. They are one of the oldest licensed whiskey distilleries in the world, with records dating back to 1608. They are known for their expertise in crafting single-malt whiskey. Whiskey is still being produced at the Bushmills Distillery today.
