Japanese Whisky

We provide a succulent range of Japanese whisky from prominent distilleries, including Chichibu & Hanyu, Karuizawa and Nikka. These whiskies take inspiration from the regions of Scotland, utilising barley and similar production methods.

Our selection of Japanese whisky is aged up to 21 years, matured in a variety of casks, such as American oak, ex-bourbon and sherry. With the peaty profile of the whisky and sweet undertones from the barrels, every sip is a new experience.

Best Japanese Whisky

The best Japanese whisky we supply is Suntory, providing the most variety compared to other distillers. Indulge in a smoky, peaty flavour profile with fruity undertones from rare casks.

For an exceptional experience, pair peated whisky with a salty cheese board and seasoned steak, and a rich chocolate cake for dessert. Whereas, a light seafood platter and fruit bowl complements sweeter whiskies well.

We often find the best Japanese whisky is matured for a longer period of time. View our selection above to find your perfect bottle.

What makes Japanese whisky unique?

Japan's consistent humidity and temperature provides ideal conditions for ageing whisky. Many distilleries are located near mountains, where they use spring water in the whisky-making process. They also use mizunara oak, a tree native to Japan, to build casks, which adds a unique flavour to the whisky.
